2D Design Package
An early-stage layout for a simple site. Excludes planting schedules, 3D modelling, renderings, and construction details.
Grading Add-on
Applied per metre of total elevation difference within the design area. Retaining walls and engineered grading are quoted separately.
Landscape Detail Documentation
Construction-detail service for a design area of 200–500 m².
Landscape Detail Documentation

Irrigation Design
Irrigation zoning, layout, and design notes coordinated with the planting plan.
Permit Drawings
Drawing preparation for a straightforward municipal submission. Application and consultant fees are excluded.
Commercial notes
- All prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude GST.
- The site inspection fee is credited when the Standard Design Package is confirmed within 30 days.
- Standard package pricing assumes a usable survey or base plan and includes one design direction with two consolidated revision rounds.
- Surveying, arborist, structural, geotechnical, engineering, municipal, and contractor costs are excluded unless noted.
- Additional revisions, meetings, travel, or changes to the agreed scope are quoted before work proceeds.
- Final scope, deliverables, payment schedule, and terms are confirmed in the written design proposal.

Banmu Landscape is a Vancouver-based, founder-led landscape design studio. We bring together landscape design, forestry research, digital fluency, and close client conversation to create gardens that feel specific to their people and their place.
Changwei Qiu
Principal Designer
Leads the studio’s design direction, planting, site strategy, and the translation of concept into built detail.
Dr. Mingze Chen
Co-founder · Digital & Strategy
Mingze holds a PhD in Forestry from the University of British Columbia. He brings research discipline and systems thinking to site capture, ecological interpretation, digital modelling, client strategy, and the studio’s long-term growth.
We work on the unceded traditional territories of the Musqueam (xʷməθkʷəy̓əm), Squamish (Sḵwx̱wú7mesh), and Tsleil-Waututh (səlilwətaɬ) Nations. We acknowledge the enduring relationship between these Nations and this land, and the responsibility that relationship asks of design.
