YUXUAN CAI

Yuxuan Cai is an urban informatics researcher and MS student at the University of Chicago, specializing in Computational Social Science. His work focuses on the impact of urban dynamics, including online cultural spaces and urban environments, on human health and decision-making. He applies a variety of computational methods, such as Natural Language Processing (NLP), Large Language Models (LLMs), and Machine Learning, to analyze large-scale social media data. Yuxuan is a lab member at several universities in both China and the United States. Previously, he studied architectural design at UCB, where he earned awards from the American and British Landscape Associations and won multiple international competitions in design.
