Studying how people perceive, experience, and interact with natural and urban environments — combining computer vision, multimodal sensing, and behavioral analytics to understand wellbeing and human–nature relationships.

Examining spatial inequality, environmental justice, and urban vitality through multi-city comparison and policy-oriented analysis — informing fairer, healthier, and more resilient cities.

Environmental Sensing & Spatial AI

Building AI sensing systems, geospatial models, and digital twins — advancing a crowdsourced framework for monitoring and understanding environmental change.

Computational Urbanism & Future Landscapes

Integrating AI with computational design and spatial intelligence for sustainable urban planning, landscape systems, and nature-based futures.
