
Xiao Wang is an MSc student in Landscape Architecture, currently studying Landscape Heritage at Politecnico di Milano and undertaking an exchange period at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU). Her work lies at the intersection of landscape architecture, urban ecology, and spatial analysis, with a particular interest in how landscape structure shapes environmental experience, ecological performance, and social equity. Her recent research focuses on green equity, urban visibility–distribution–accessibility assessment, and data-informed approaches to landscape evaluation and design. Xiao’s research interests include Landscape Heritage and Cultural Landscapes, Urban Ecology and Green Infrastructure, Environmental Justice, Spatial Analytics and GIS, and visual representation in landscape research and design.
