Remote Research Assistant
Nature AI Lab continuously recruits Remote Research Assistants for AI-driven urban and environmental research. Ideal for students building research skills, contributing to international projects, and preparing for graduate or PhD applications. Strong performers may progress to co-authorship on SCI/SSCI publications.
Research Areas
- Urban AI and future cities
- Human–nature interaction and wellbeing
- Urban vitality and environmental justice
- GIS and spatial data analysis
- Computer vision and street-level imagery
- Social media and urban perception
- Digital twins and spatial behavior analytics
Preferred Background
- Type A — Urban planning, GIS, landscape, human geography, or architecture; strong interest in ML / quantitative methods
- Type B — CS, data science, statistics, or engineering; strong interest in urban / environmental applications
- Evidence of coding ability (GitHub, coursework) appreciated
- Prior publications a plus, not required for junior roles
