
Qian Mao is an incoming PhD student in urban planning at Nanjing Forestry University. She received her Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Newcastle University, UK. Her research focuses on social–ecological systems in peri-urban green spaces, with particular attention to spatial transformation, human use behaviors, and equitable governance from the perspective of environmental justice. Her work integrates remote sensing, multi-source urban data, spatial statistics, and comparative urban analysis to examine the interactions among social equity, ecological quality, behavioral patterns, and perceived experience across urban and peri-urban contexts.
